As the leaves switch up their game from summer's bright green to those cosy shades of orange and brown, it's our cue that Autumn is back in town. And that means one thing around here: it’s time for the Binfield Scarecrow Hunt!

This events popularity rivals Christmas! Binfield becomes overrun with families, preparing themselves for the two-hour long Scarecrow trail round the village. Purchasing their maps from either The Village Store, Foxes Den Café or Daphne’s Cafe. Perhaps even treating themselves to a scrumptious hot chocolate or sweet treat from either café…

It’s an amazing week-long event that brings everyone together for a good time and helps raise some money for some amazing local causes that really matter.

This year, we got in on the action and put together our very own scarecrow. Of course, he had to stand out, so we decked him out in a snazzy pink hoodie with a cool green badge to boot!

Kali, our Group Support Manager, teamed up with her dad to bring our straw buddy to life, and they even went all out making his noggin out of papier-mâché!

Plus, we got the chance to throw a little love back into the community by sponsoring the Scarecrow Trail and paying for the maps.

What do you think of Alan? And if you did the Scarecrow hunt, did you see him on the trail?
