Now if you’re wondering what happens next before you receive the keys to your new home, let me tell you…

Solicitors will need to wait for completion funds to hit their account before confirming you have officially completed and keys can be released.

Pack up those final bits first thing in the morning, don’t hesitate, get it done.

If you’ve got kids I highly recommend you get childcare or build their beds first thing.

Consider using a colour dot system when packing boxes. It’s so much easier to have different colours for each room. It will help the removal companies know where to put your belongings too.

Take your meter readings of your gas, electric and water to provide to your utility suppliers.
