The seller's view... - We moved here from Bristol six years ago as our jobs brought us to the area. We chose Wokingham as it had a lovely feeling in the town, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We chose to live on Budge's Road as it is within easy walking distance of the town and station for us. It's also good for Bracknell, M$ and M3 for our work. The road itself is nice and quiet, plenty of parking for visitors. We live across the road from Keephatch School and in catchment for St Crispins secondary, which has an OFSTED good rating, At the end of the road a small row of shops including a Sainsbury's local, newsagent, barber and three take-aways. There is also a small childrens park there. Within 5-10 minutes there are three other parks and a nature reserve.
The house is spacious and modern, we've replaced all the windows and fitted wooden shutters throughout, a new porch, conservatory with electric openers and mains radiator. and landscaped the garden professionally. There is still some scope to add additional parking or a forth bedroom should you wish!
The agent's view... - These houses were built at a time where space in Wokingham was less of a premium! And whilst the house has been vastly improved by the current owners there is still scope to add value with a potential extension over the garage (STPP) This house is ready to move your furniture in and enjoy. The windows, kitchen, bathroom and flooring has been recently replaced throughout. The addition of a utility room to the rear of the garage also gives a valuable addition of a downstairs WC.
The area view... - Budge's Road is situated to the North East of Wokingham town centre, convenient for commuting along the A329, M4 and country routes to Maidenhead and Slough. The house sits within a couple of minutes walk from the local Primary school and a parade of shops including a Sainsbury's local.
